CrossBeltSorter’s design and functionality concept uses off the shelf components packaged into a novel material handling control hardware package. Each car is individually controlled by a robust onboard digital servo control sourced from the aerospace industry. Using an interface module, the material handling/database/tracking/control system wirelessly transmits commands to each car and also receives discrete status reports indicating car status, bin status as well as a host of other information. This elegant solution uses our own software to provide a stand alone system or may be tailored to integrate into the most complex warehouse management systems quickly and easily.
